So much has happened since our last post! We are growing each day, stretching up and out, roots taking hold.
On September 10th, 2016, we had the pleasure of showing in our first runway show! Chance Fashion's Full Figured Edition was such a success. We opened the whole show, dancing down the runway. The response was overwhelming, and was such an encouragement to keep moving forward.
Last weekend we shot our very first look book! It is now being edited, so keep your eyes peeled for the look book on our website.
Our designer will be going to a fabric show this November to source interesting fabrics for our pop up shop this February! When all the details are arranged, we will make a big announcement on our Events page. WE CAN'T WAIT!
The outpouring of love and support from our community is amazing. Thank you to each of you who have sent a word of encouragement, who have shared our facebook page, and shared and attended our show. It means more than we can say.
Many of you have been asking when you can get your hands on some garments, so we want to address that now. Currently, each garment is made to measure, which means tailored to each person's body. Since that is a very labor intensive and expensive process, this has limited us to only doing custom work. We are currently working on a plan to produce a limited quantity of a select few styles both on our website and at pop-up shops in the Seattle and Portland area. These events will be announced on our Events page. If you want a garment that is not being offered there, please ASK! We can make it!
We are working toward having local manufacturing, as we believe in Made in America products, and in supporting the artisans here in our own community. We want each garment to be made with great care and attention to detail, and the best way to ensure that is to keep it local! The extra cost is worth every penny when we know the conditions of the workers is safe and ethical, and the quality of the garments is high.
In the works are pop up shops, expos, and other fun events, so please make sure to come out and say hello! We love meeting our little flowers.
Now, back to reaching for the sun!
